Who operates this website
Tradesman Ops is a pre-launch product. This website is currently operated by its founder in an individual capacity, not by a separately registered Tradesman Ops company. For questions about this website or your information, contact [email protected].
What you share with us
Our beta-interest form asks for your name, email address and business name. You can also choose to share a phone number, trade or service type, service area, team size, current software, contact preference and the business tasks you would like help with. Those additional fields are optional. Please do not include passwords, payment details, customer records or other confidential information.
We use inquiries to assess interest in the beta, understand business needs and respond about possible participation. Submitting this form does not create a product account, start a subscription or sign you up for marketing texts.
How information is handled
Inquiries are handled through WordPress and Jetpack Forms and may be stored in the website’s private response dashboard and delivered by email. The operator and authorized website administrators or editors can access them to manage inquiries. Hosting, email and website-service providers process information needed to provide those services.
Our website uses HostGator hosting, Cloudflare delivery and security services, and Jetpack services from Automattic, including form handling and image delivery. These services may process technical details such as IP addresses, browser information, requested pages and timestamps. Jetpack may also associate technical details with a form response. See Automattic’s visitor privacy notice and Cloudflare’s privacy policy for information about their processing.
Cookies and similar technology
Necessary cookies and similar storage support security, site features and your privacy choices. Cloudflare may remember a security check using cookies such as cf_clearance. WordPress and Jetpack use additional cookies for website administrators’ sign-in and protection; those differ from a visitor simply reading our public pages. Browser session storage may also remember whether your browser can display emoji.
Complianz remembers your choices using cookies beginning cmplz_. Our regional consent setup also remembers a separate choice for US and non-US visits in your browser’s local storage. Choices are kept for up to one year, unless you change or clear them earlier. A small request to this website uses the country supplied by Cloudflare to select the consent rules; it does not send your form details to an analytics provider.
For EU and other non-US visitors, optional analytics stays off until accepted. For US visitors, the setup allows optional analytics unless you opt out, but honors Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. While a region lookup is pending, or if it fails, the stricter opt-in rules apply. Use Cookie settings in the footer to review or change your choice at any time. Rejecting optional analytics does not prevent you from viewing the site or using the beta-interest form.
We use Google Analytics to understand visits and which pages are useful, subject to the regional choices above. Its first-party cookies include _ga and _ga_BG0QJXW5KZ; our tag sets a one-year cookie lifetime. Analytics can process device/browser information, pages visited, approximate location and referral information. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers or form answers in analytics events. Our page-view configuration removes URL query strings and fragments, and disables Google signals and advertising personalization. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Turning analytics off stops further collection through our tag and removes its known first-party analytics cookies on this site. It cannot retrieve information already sent to Google. Jetpack Stats and WooCommerce analytics remain off, so we are not adding a second analytics system. No advertising pixels or session-replay tools have been added.
When analytics is allowed, we also count successful beta-interest submissions to understand whether the form is useful and working. The analytics event identifies the form and its page, not your name, contact details, answers or submission number. This measurement is separate from the inquiry itself, which we need in order to respond to you.
The cookie lifetime above is not a promise that Google deletes all analytics records after one year. Google Analytics has separate retention controls for user-level and event-level data, and those controls do not apply to all aggregated reports. See Google’s explanation of analytics data retention. You can contact us with questions about analytics data and deletion.
You can also remove cookies and site storage using your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect forms, sign-in or security checks. See Cloudflare’s cookie information and Automattic’s cookie policy for provider details. Changing a cookie preference does not delete information already submitted through our form; contact us as described below for those requests.
Keeping, correcting or deleting an inquiry
Inquiries are retained to handle beta-interest requests and related follow-up. To ask about a submission, correct it, request its deletion or ask us to stop contacting you, email [email protected]. We may need to verify that the request relates to you. Copies can also exist in email and routine backups; removal from the live response dashboard is not necessarily immediate removal from every backup.
We keep private website backups, including stored inquiries, in Google Drive and on systems used to operate and recover the website. Our scheduled backup rotation keeps the three newest verified backups; an additional copy may exist while a new backup is being checked. Older scheduled copies are removed only after the replacement has been verified. Separate recovery copies made before a website change can be retained while needed for that recovery. Backup rotation is based on successful backups, not a guaranteed number of days. Deleting an inquiry from the live website therefore does not immediately remove it from every backup or email copy. Google processes stored backup data to provide its storage service; see Google’s privacy policy.
About this notice
This notice describes the marketing website and beta-interest form, not the handling of operational records inside the Tradesman Ops product. Product participation will have its own information and terms. We will update this page when website practices or the responsible operator change.
